There must be one in every neighborhood. We have a neighbor 3 houses down whose decorating taste is missing in action. She has a large inflatable snow globe with 3 caroling snowmen inside, an inflatable vacationing Santa Claus resting in a hammock between 2 palm trees and Snoopy sitting on his doghouse with his Red Baron gear on. The only tie in Snoopy has to the holidays are the lights on his doghouse, which kind of get lost in the overall effect. At least she's putting in the effort though. The rest of my neighbors aren't decorating at all.

Okay - I've been thinking about this for awhile as we have a similar house a few down from us. And I finally asked and they buy new pieces every year AFTER Christmas for the NEXT year. At half price or less. Like this year they have an INFLATABLE NATIVITY. Which, you know, is exactly what God intended as a way to recognize the birth of Christ. hee.
